Time Out says

Authentic Korean cuisine hiding below street level in Prague’s formerly industrial Žižkov neighborhood

It’s easy to miss this small, two-room establishment tucked down a flight of stairs from the Lipanska tram stop. With comfortable breathing room between tables spread beneath arched brick walls, patrons quietly enjoy the signature bowl of white rice, meat, vegetable, and seasoning, topped with a friend egg alongside other traditional South Korean dishes. Buddha statues and decorative fans dot the room with minimal décor, and service is friendly and un-invasive. While the affordable quality is popular among workers in the area at lunchtime, you can generally snag a table at most hours of the day without a reservation.

Time Out tip: For an off-the-beaten-path adventure, jump on the tram post-meal and get off at the Biskupcova stop in the outskirts of Žižkov to discover a local beer garden, visit independent cinema Kino Aero, or climb Vitkov Hill to watch the sunset.

Nearby:
Žižkov TV Tower: For panoramic views, fine dining, and a cocktail bar
Bohemian Retro: For curated vintage clothing and jewelry shopping
Bukowski’s Bar: For a casual alternative to Prague’s flair-loving cocktail bars
