Joey Gann is a freelance food and travel writer who previously worked as a chef before trading his knife for a pen. After working in acclaimed restaurants across London, he made Vietnam his second home, and has spent nearly a decade living in Hanoi. He now divides his time between Bath, UK, and Vietnam's capital, eating, cooking and writing, writing, cooking and eating.
When he's not traversing Vietnam on his Honda Minsk trying every variety of pho known to man, you'll find him pounding salads and playing with stray dogs at his father-in-law's restaurant on the Mekong River. That, or learning the complete works of Bruce Springsteen on guitar, with varying degrees of success.
