Bar del Fico

This long-established centro storico fixture – named after the ancient fig tree (fico) outside – underwent a refurbishment a few years back and transformed from an old-school local bar to a vintagey French-style bistro with a laid-back boho ambience. Not that this has deterred the regulars however, and the old blokes can still be found playing chess outside. Open from breakfast until the small hours, it is the perfect central meeting place.
