With drinks and panini served from a disused tram carriage on the corner of via Marmorata to be consumed at the outside tables (accompanied by a frantic soundtrack of traffic and sirens), Tram Depot is certainly a quaint place to take a break. The most evocative time to visit is after sunset when young folk stop by for pre-dinner cocktails, the trees are bedecked with fairy lights and the atmosphere is one of friendly conviviality.
