Panda’s excellent location, just west of the Spanish Steps, is its main selling point. Rooms are very basic but clean; ask for one of the more recently renovated rooms, which have terracotta floors and high, wood-beamed ceilings. There’s no lift and you’ll have to go elsewhere for your morning cappuccino, but bargains in this area are hard to come by and Panda’s 28 rooms are usually booked solid in high season.
