Portrait Suites

Portrait Suites is one of the luxury boutique hotels owned by fashion designer Salvatore Ferragamo. Black and white photos and memorabilia from the designer’s archives decorate the hallways, yet the rooms themselves carry little clue of the hotel’s fashion pedigree (though eagle-eyed fans might spot the designer’s gancino emblem on the curtains). A black-and-slate colour scheme is offset with touches of pink and lime, and the 14 studios and suites all have spacious marble bathrooms, as well as walk-in wardrobes and even a glamorous kitchenette. Breakfast is served in the rooms or outside on the spectacular terrace.
