Torre Colonna

Quirky little Torre Colonna is just what the name implies: a medieval tower. Five stylish, comfortable bedrooms, with painted wood-beamed ceilings and jaunty artwork, are stacked one on top of the other and crowned with a leafy roof terrace complete with hot tub and a dramatic view across a huge swathe of the centro storico. Miraculously, they’ve also managed to squeeze a lift into this difficult space. The Forum and Palatine are short strolls away.
