Aligning With Authenticity

The Yoga Seed Collective says
When we forget who we authentically are, we suffer. Our attention aligns with the belief that we are separate from life. We struggle. We resist. We strive. In order to experience our inherent freedom, we must learn to recognize ourselves as the very thing we long for. Our authentic nature is pure consciousness. Through awareness practice, we can align our attention with that direct experience of ourselves. We realize peace. Join us as we explore this topic more fully through a guided meditation and engaged Dharma talk with Caverly Morgan. No experience required.
CaverlyMorgan [http://onehouseofpeace.org/caverly] is the founding director of One House of Peace [http://onehouseofpeace.org]. A devoted Zen awareness practitioner and former Zen monk, she leads workshops and retreats throughout the U.S. She is also the Lead Teacher for Peace in Schools [http://www.peaceinschools.org/], which brings mindfulness to youngpeople in schools, shelters, and social service agencies in Portland, Oregon. This semester, Peace in Schools began the first for-credit mindfulness classes in U.S. high schools [http://www.peaceinschools.org/our-programs/].
