Crocker Art Museum says
The Festival of New American Music, a project of the Sacramento State School of Music at Sacramento State University, returns to the Crocker to showcase some of the most talented musicians and composers working today!

This year, hear Juilliard-trained flutist Laurel Zucker accompanied by Saturday Club president John Cozza on piano. Zucker will perform a concert of new and recent American works for flute, including the premier of her own “Grand Canyon Sonata” for flute and piano. You can check out all festival events at csus.edu/music/fenam. Space is limited and advance registration is recommended.

In advance of the Classical Concert, enjoy a docent-led tour of works by contemporary artists in the Crocker's permanent collection to help put the music in context with the art. Prelude Tours are open to all visitors.

Free for members and free with admission for nonmembers. Sponsored by Capital Public Radio Music.
