Crocker Art Museum says
In honor of the opening day of the exhibition Andy Warhol: Portraits, concert pianist Jason Sia will perform renowned American pianist/composer, and Warhol contemporary, Earl Wild’s piano transcriptions of George Gershwin’s popular songs, such as Embraceable You, Summertime, and The Man I Love. The program will also include world-favorite works by Chopin, Liszt, Debussy, Rachmaninoff, and others. Space is limited, and reserving tickets in advance is recommended.

Before the concert, enjoy a docent-led Prelude Tour of the exhibition Andy Warhol: Portraits at 1 or 2 PM. Prelude Tours help place the musical performance in context of the art on view. No registration is necessary for the tour.

$6 for members, $10 students/youth & Capital Public Radio members, and $12 for all other nonmembers.
