Francis House of Sacramento says
We are taking Feast to the streets this year in celebration of 45 years of serving those living on the streets. Our 24th Annual event has now become Feast IN the Streets. Join us May 9, 2015, 5 – 9 p.m. for a street festival at 15th and C Streets in Sacramento.

This year our street festival will feature food tasting from some of the area’s “hottest” food trucks and restaurants. An assortment of wine, beer and soft drinks will be available for purchase. There will be live music by rockabilly band The Vintage Vandals, a belly dance fusion set by Nusku Tribe and fire performance to conclude the evening with Up in Smoke!

Feast IN the Streets truly is a communal meal on behalf of those who often go without food or shelter. Your participation means Francis House Center can continue its mission of offering hope and help to those suffering the effects of poverty. Francis House Center works to change lives every day. Money raised at Feast IN the Streets pays for job development, temporary shelter, and resource counseling for those needing work, housing, and hope. Lack of a driver’s license or a California-issued ID card can be the barrier to housing, employment, or the first step towards changing one’s circumstances. Francis House Center provides these resources and many more to our homeless and struggling clients.
