The Restoration Dilemma: How Much is Too Much?

People have always customized their cars, even if just the license plate. Since the first Model T rolled off the assembly line proud new owners have wanted to personalize their rides.
Today's buyers of a vintage car has many options when restoring the vehicle, cost being the primary factor. Rarely will the cost of the restoration be recouped after a complete restoration…so how much is too much?
The Restoration Dilemma is more than cost however; from leaving a car untouched in its found condition to complete showroom condition and beyond to customized hot rods, rat rods, lead sleds and low rides. The Restoration Dilemma is a hot topic among car lovers.

In this lecture-tour, CAM visitors will be treated to the wit and wisdom of docent Dan Faustman while looking at examples of cars from the *sublime to the **extreme in the CAM collection.
