Sactown Fin Fest says
Raley Field and the Sacramento River Cats, in collaboration with Visit Sacramento, are excited to announce that the first ever Sactown Fin Fest is coming to Raley Field on Thursday, October 20. The pre-concert tailgating party opens at 10 am on the 20th and will feature live music, food trucks and drinks, games and prizes, overnight RV parking, shuttles to the Jimmy Buffett concert at the Golden 1 Center, and much more.

Sactown Fin Fest is headlined by Garratt Wilkin & The Parrotheads, billed as the number one Jimmy Buffett tribute band in the nation. Wilkin and his band are a familiar sound at Raley Field, as the group also plays the River Cats' annual Fin Fest-themed game each baseball season. They will be joined by Mumbo Gumbo, a "genre-bending Americana" group that has received numerous Sammies and Best of Sacramento awards.

In addition to live music, the pre-concert tailgate will feature a variety of food trucks and island-style beverages. Entercom's 96.9 The Eagle will be at the party, playing island jams and Buffett-style classic rock. Also involved are two local Parrothead chapters, the Parrothead Pirates of the California Delta and the Latitude 38° Parrothead Club.

Tickets to the event vary in price and range from individual walk-up ($10) to overnight RV parking ($99). Full ticket prices can be found online here. Traditional tailgating will be permitted at the event, and shuttles provided by Visit Sacramento will allow easy transportation between Raley Field and the official Jimmy Buffett concert at the new Golden 1 Center in downtown Sacramento. Gates for the parking lot tailgate event at Raley Field open at 10 a.m.
