The popularity of what is often called “unconventional fitness” seems to be growing to the point of being almost conventional. Unfortunately with such momentum comes diluted education and support. We face the phenomenon of a ton of info out there, but much of it is pretty unreliable, if not just bad. For almost 15 years, Northern California has had one true physical culture gym, where the wisdom of the iron is taught with passion, science, and a good dose of child-like wonder. BodyTribe Fitness is hosting another series of strength and movement workshops throughout the summer, and this week it is The Art of Clubs and Maces.
