There are thousands of yoga teachers who complete their 200 hour training and realize that they have just scratched the surface.

Teaching to Underserved and Vulnerable Populations takes a closer at how to use the tools gained from a 200 hour yoga teacher training (from any location), to serve beginners and those we serve in the Yoga Seed’s Outreach program (mental illness, youth, incarcerated individuals, and differently-abled bodies).

Our focus will be specific teaching tools and techniques, including information about teaching to special populations. We will do some practice teaching, practice planning, and we will also discuss outreach opportunities to teach and serve in the community.

Throughout the training we will be mindful of trauma and disability, but also of systems of oppression that are in play when we go to teach to vulnerable or underserved populations in the community.

This course will be 20 practical hours and 10 additional hours, for a total of 25 CE credits.

**Please write a short 300 words or less essay on your self-care practices, and who you hope to serve with this workshop before attending. Essays can be emailed to info@theyogaseed.org.
