Wilderness First Aid (WFA)

This class covers wilderness first aid topics such as patient assessment, shock and bleeding, head and spinal injuries, wounds, musculoskeletal injuries, heat and cold illnesses and much more. The highlight of this class is practicing your skills in hands-on scenarios. This class does not include CPR.

Successful completion of class includes a Wilderness First Aid certificate. This class is taught by Bobbie Foster of Foster Calm. She has been teaching wilderness first aid across Northern California since 1994.

Class time is 8:00am - 5:00pm both Saturday and Sunday. Minimum age is 16.
