Time Out says

This historic event venue is in the heart of the Mission, a bit off the beaten path of Valencia’s oversaturated retail row. Opened in 1916 as a private club, today its doors are open to the public for an array of events from weddings and galas to corporate gatherings and comedy shows seeking to take advantage of its classic ballroom, bar and luxe powder rooms.

What’s on

Bachata Kizomba Sunday

Hello! Bachata brings a daytime twist to the dance party, swapping the usual late night schedule for an afternoon of music, movement and social connection at Verdi Club. The event splits the space between two distinct sounds: bachata and salsa on the main floor, with kizomba, urban kiz and related styles taking over the second room. Beginner lessons open the door for newcomers, while experienced dancers can spend the rest of the afternoon refining their steps and meeting new partners on the floor. The relaxed timing is part of the appeal, creating a more welcoming rhythm than a midnight club night. With DJs, dance showcases and a crowd that spans first timers to regulars, it is a gathering built around the simple pleasure of learning something new and staying out on the floor a little longer.
