Time Out says

The site of an infamous brawl with cops during the 1979 White Night riot that followed the lenient sentencing of Dan White, Harvey Milk's assassin, this bar-restaurant - named after Harvey Milk - is usually pervaded by a spirit of bonhomie. Saturdays host a mixed bag of drag and musical performances, and a recent makeover highlights the colourful clientele.
