Once patronised by dock workers and sailors on shore leave, the Hi Dive was renovated a while back, but still draws a low-key crowd. A fine pit stop during a walk down the Embarcadero, it's right on the water, and gets lively - or, depending on your mood, crowded - before and after Giants games.
