San Francisco is a world-class dining city. We're famous for our food—and we're not talking talking about rice. Bay Area chefs and restaurants end up on Michelin and James Beard award lists every year and for good reason. We do serious food in this town, from white-tablecloth fine dining to street food-inspired casual creations. As a result, some San Francisco menu items and ingredients can sounds a little wacky as local chefs push the limits of food and challenge our palates. In fun-loving celebration of their culinary efforts, take a bite of our list of San Francisco menu items that don't exist but totally could:

2. Chicken liver cheesecake with a ground bone crust and shaved essence of chicken heart

6. A grass-fed all-beef organic cheeseburger on an Acme roll that comes with a perfect Instagram #foodporn pic instantly uploaded to your account

7. Artisan wooden box of wood-flavored smoke

8. Nine-course all-cannabis tasting menu for $375

9. Ironic bowl of '80s brand breakfast cereal: $17 (soy milk + $3)

10. Dirty Girl Produce zucchini gelato served in a deep fried zucchini flower cone

11. Pet Pairing Program, in which guests are served a multi-course meal that specifically pairs in both taste and texture with a specially designed multi-course meal for their pet
