Once again, the City by the Bay lands on top of the gourmet food chain. Bon Appetit released their list for America's Best New Restaurants 2015 this morning, and six San Francisco eateries have made the cut: Aatxe, Al's Place, Lazy Bear, Liholiho Yacht Club, The Progress and Rintaro. Not to toot our own fog horn, but that's one more nomination than New York City, and two more than LA.
It's a promising sign for our city making the coveted top 10 list (which will be narrowed down by August 18), or even having one of our eateries crowned as the mag's #1 Best New Restaurant of the Year. Last year, Tosca Cafe came in at #4, and in 2013 Saison came in at #2. Which SF spots will make it to the top 10 this year? Check back here on August 18 to find out!
