Grocery delivery services in San Francisco are nothing new, but they do have a new competitor. Google Express has begun in SF, making our dreams of never having to deal with traffic or MUNI for a bottle of wine that much simpler.

The company pairs with existing stores, including Costco and Whole Foods to deliver fresh groceries, frozen goods and booze. But they don't stop there; you can also order items from Target, REI, Bed Bath and Beyond and more. Service may or may not be available in your area—you'll have to enter your zip code to see where Google Express will deliver.

There is a free three-month trial for those who want to give it a shot, after which it will cost $10 a month or $95 a year to become a member. Membership isn't necessary, but there are perks: for example, delivery prices vary from free to $2.99 for members and are $4.99 for non-members. (There may be additional fees depending on items ordered and the selected delivery time.)
