Every once in awhile, we stumble upon a treasure of a local Instagram feed. Out latest obsession is @chinatownpretty, a photo-blog and subsequent social media presence that celebrates the street style of Chinatown's senior citizens. Created and curated by Andrea Lo and Valerie Luu, Chinatown Pretty's images are surprisingly hip—and a particularly sweet slice of San Francisco.

If you've got some time or some procrastinating to do, spend some time on the blog where most photos include charming information about each subject. And make sure you swing by Chinatown Pretty's photo exhibit at 41 Ross Alley, showing through February 28th. The grand opening reception is Friday, December 4 from 4-9pm, and will feature complimentary dim sum and beer. Really!

In the meantime, however, make sure you follow Chinatown Pretty on Instagram. It will change your feed for the fabulous.
