This newly released three-and-a-half minute video tale of Star Wars icon R2-D2 finding love is so sweet and so real, one almost forgets it’s happening to a droid. Like those of us unlucky in love, Artoo falls for the wrong partner and is left to wander the hills of Pacific Heights with a broken heart. But this is San Francisco, where love always finds a way—usually along the Embarcadero.
The video was made by Autodesk employee Evan Atherton and stars a custom-built R2-D2 (that we really want to own).
