Colorful floats and streams of performers flowed through Japantown on Sunday for the final event of the 49th Annual Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival. The festival spanned two weekends and included booths with delicious Japanese food, a beer garden, live bands, free activities and more. The Grand Parade rounded out the festivities and featured performances Japanese traditional dance (buyo), Japanese folk music (minyo) and cultural representatives from local Japanese American and other Asian American communities.
