This Mother's Day, what could be cuter than taking your mom to see three adorable otter pups?

Earlier this week, the Oakland Zoo debuted three new North American river otter babies. The litter, born on February 9th, consists of one boy and two girls and are named Si'ahl, Imnaha and Talulah respectively.

Swimming is an acquired skill for otters, so zoo officials typically wait until the pups become strong swimmers before they allow the public to see them. In this case, the wait period was only a few short months.

“We are pleased to have our sixth healthy litter of otter pups since 2011," said Zoological Manager Adam Fink. "This is Rose’s second litter and we are happy that she is once again being a great mother to her pups."

This brings Oakland Zoo's total number of North American river otters to six, including dad, Wyatt, mom, Rose, and grandma, Ginger.
