Generations of San Francisco families return year after year to this lively local tradition: Pick out a tree from 2 to 18 feet (really) and for an additional cost, the Guardsmen will actually do the delivery and set up. The Guardsmen is an all-volunteer (and heavily popped-collar) organization and all of the preppy proceeds go to at-risk youth in San Francisco.

We love this centrally-located city lot because while nestled in the heart of San Francisco, Clancy's still has an old-school country vibe. Easy Bay holiday fans and families love Wonderland, which literally turns a tree lot into a winter wonderland. Bounce houses, a petting zoo and food trucks add an extra-festive vibe to this Alameda lot. (There's also another Alameda location at 1929 Webster Street.) Online ordering and delivery is easy and appreciate during this busy time of year. We're especially fans of the fact that Wonderland Trees is run by a 4th generation Oakland family.
