Hotel Vertigo

Part of the Personality Hotels mini chain, this striking property was undergoing a transformation at the time of writing. LA designer Thomas Schoos is responsible for its identity shift from the York to become the Hotel Vertigo, going for a bold effect with plenty of colour and bold patterns. Rooms here are larger than many in the city. The new restaurant will have chef Tyler Florence at the helm.
