Time Out says
This roadhouse started out as a lunch spot for dot-com cube farmers. When the pink slips began to flutter, Thee Parkside found new life as a rowdy joint specialising in roots, punk, country and garage rock. Things get sweaty in the main room, where the so-called 'stage' abuts the door. In the tiki patio out back, beer guzzlers heat up with a bit of ping-pong.
