Uptown Night Club

Local punk magazine publisher Larry Trujillo recently took the helm at this promising, narrow space in a deco beauty of a downtown Oakland building. Since then he's booked punk vets like the Germs and the Adolescents, swingers Big Sandy and his Fly-Rite Boys, SF dance-poppers the Lovemakers and a raft of live burlesque, electro and new wave punk DJ nights.
