To commemorate the 18th anniversary of the inspiring album’s release, music director Meklit will lead a showcase of 15 different Bay Area artists in a tribute performance of every song from “Lost Ones” to “Tell Him.” It’s unlikely the acts will show up hours late (a true nod to the notoriously tardy hip-hop songstress); the YBCA runs a tight ship.
