Over the past few years, North Carolina's proggy metal band Between the Buried and Me have established themselves as one of the most versatile acts in existence. The group's highly technical arrangements, which blend jazz, prog rock and hardcore influences, offer up near-endless riffs with a Rush-meets-Megadeth vibe and lots of screaming. They are joined here by August Burns Red, fresh off its triumphant appearance at the Grammys.
