Back in 2012, our Chicago colleagues dubbed K.Flay “rap’s great white, female hope.” Claiming influences as varied as Liz Phair and Missy Elliot, the alt-wunderkind has matured into a confident songwriter and producer, and boasts being the first act signed to Imagine Dragons’ frontman Dan Reynolds’ imprint Night Street. After several successful jaunts around the globe on the festival circuit, she’s back stateside for a tour promoting her new EP, Crush Me.
