The inimitable and ever thought-provoking Kendrick Lamar is bringing his uber-intimate Kunta’s Groove Session tour through Oakland this week, joined by his backing band, The Wesley Theory, with label mate Jay Rock opening the show. The limited road sessions are in support of his critically acclaimed album To Pimp a Butterfly, but lucky ticket holders can look forward to some faves from good kid, m.A.A.d city as well as some musical nods to the artist’s big influences.
