Time Out says

Back in the early-aughts, Bay Area quartet Rogue Wave’s bittersweet indie-pop songs appealed to fans of former Sub Pop labelmates the Shins. The intervening years have seen the group take total creative control of their work, and on Record Store Day 2016 they dropped a special release, Cover Me, featuring ethereal remakes of 80s tracks like Pete Townsend's "Let My Love Open the Door" and Kim Carnes’ "Bette Davis Eyes." They perform it live at Rickshaw Stop this week as part of Noise Pop 25.
