Canadian power-pop supergroup the New Pornographers, anchored by singer-songwriter Carl Newman, return with its seventh album, Whiteout Conditions. The record is packed with the band's usual blend of soaring choruses, impassioned anthems and some great songs featuring alt-country singer Neko Case (who is also touring with the group). Indie folk rockers Waxahatchee open the show.
