Daveed Diggs will headline the first ever Park Jam festival at Oakland Museum

Add this new summer fest to your to-do list. The Oakland Museum of California is joining forces with Noise Pop and Oakhella to host the first ever Park Jam festival this month. The inaugural event will take place in the museum's back gardens where ticket holders can enjoy food, drinks, turntable battles, DJ sets, live performances and more.

Headlining the fest is experimental hip-hop group clipping., featuring Oakland-born actor, writer, and musician Daveed Diggs (you might known him from Blackish and the original cast of Hamilton). There will also be performances by MADlines and Knuckle Neck Tribe, live graffiti murals by Refa One and Aerosol Art, and a special tribute to the late Pam the Funkstress, also known as Purple Pam. 

Saturday, July 21, noon–5pm at Oakland Museum of California; $19.95 adult; $14.95 senior/student; $10.95 youth; free for children 8 and under.
