Valentine Haunt

You and your beau get one dim flashlight to navigate a pitch-black haunted house that features a terrifying, gory Cupid and a bear wielding a chainsaw.

February 10, 11, 14 at 7pm; Bayfair Center, 15555 E 14th St, San Leandro; $25–$35.

The Great San Francisco Valentine’s Day Pillow Fight

Aphrodisiacs of the Tropics

Indulge the senses at the Conservatory of Flowers’ Aphrodisiacs of the Tropics. Guests are welcomed with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine paired with chocolate, while roaming docents go into exuberant detail on plant reproduction with a focus on the sex lives of orchids and botanical love stories centered on vanilla. An accordion performance by Jasper de Tarr and sweet aromatics from perfume house Fitzgerald and Guislain round out the night.

February 14 at 5:30pm; 100 John F. Kennedy Dr; $25–$35.

Dan Pink at JCCSF

The Jewish Community Center of San Francisco brings celebrated author Dan Pink (Drive, To Sell is Human) to discuss his new book, When, this V-Day. Pink asks the important questions—like “when is the ideal time to get married?"—to reveal the scientific secrets to good timing and how you can use them to flourish.

February 14 at 7pm; 3200 California St; $28–$48 (premium tickets include a copy of the book).

Cupid’s Undie Run

Strip down to your skivvies for this half-naked run through the streets of San Francisco. Don’t worry, it’s for a good cause—proceeds go to finding a cure for neurofibromatosis.

February 17 at noon; Meet at Pedro’s Cantina (128 King St); $35.
