How do you prefer your charitable giving—on the rocks or straight up?

Skyy Vodka creator Maurice Kanbar has a new project, Blue Angel Vodka, and 100 percent of the proceeds are going straight to charity.

While Blue Angel will rotate non-profits partners, for its first month (and fittingly it's Pride Month) the newly launched spirit is paired with the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus (SFGMC). All of its profits will go straight to the legendary mens group.

“I’ve got a nice place to live here in San Francisco, a ten-year-old Lexus and I get to have lunch with friends nearly every day. At my age, I don’t need any more money, but a lot of great causes do,” Kanbar told Left Magazine“This idea of selling a whole lot of great vodka and giving away money might not get me into heaven, but it will be fun trying. And, I’m sure we’ll be able to do a lot of good.”

The six-time-distilled, American-grain-fermented vodka goes for $20 a bottle. You can order online or search for retailers listed on the company’s homepage. Whichever way you choose to imbibe, know that your hangover is helping someone, somewhere.
