Longtime Mission Bay residents Jan and Esther Stearns and SoMa StrEat Food Park owner Carlos Muela had a simple dream: Create a one-of-a-kind, Instagram-friendly mini-golf experience that would fill a recreational void in San Francisco's Mission Bay neighborhood. Over the weekend, that dream became a reality. Introducing, San Francisco’s first outdoor mini-golf course Stagecoach Greens!
The course features 18 holes that each reference San Francisco’s rich history and current cultural climate. Holes like The Emigrant Trail and the Dazzling Gold, as well as the IG-worthy "All-Gold-Everything" golf cart, pay homage to SF's blinged-out Gold Rush era. Other holes reference the Summer of Love and the city's modern tech scene (complete with a dueling Salesforce Tower and Transamerica Pyramid). All in all, more than 150 designers worked together to create a fabulous course.
In addition to golf, there’s also four food trucks including permanent spots for Al Pastor Papi and Hookt Mini Donuts (the other two truck will be rotated on a month-to-month basis) and a beer garden at the park. Opening at 5pm daily, the bar will serve local brews, mimosas, and sangria.
Located across from Spark Social at 1379 Fourth Street and open daily from 11am-9pm, ticketed tee times into the park are $16 for adults and $8 for children and include all the necessary gear.Share the story
