This chic girl-power party at the Balboa Theatre has free coffee and movies

In the mood for coffee, shopping and Molly Ringwald? This Saturday, April 14th, Lady Falcon Coffee Club is hosting a girl-power party complete with shopping and snacks from women-founded Bay Area brands and a free screening of the classic film Pretty in Pink. 

Deemed Babes @ The Box Office, LFCC is renting the historic Balboa Theatre from 10am–1pm, with the film starting at 10:30am. In the lobby, local brands will offer bites and drinks, pop-up shops, giveaways and 80s hits at the turntable.

Fuel up for the day at LFCC; their truck will be parked out front serving free coffee. Retail therapy comes by way of Freda Salvador, who will be pulling their darling shoe trailer Diego up front as well and offering a 15% discount, Kin the Label's gorgeous hats and pretty lingerie from ThirdLove (who will also be giving away gift cards). If you need something to hold all your purchases, Baggu will also be giving out free baby Baggus. Plus, Yonder Shop will be doing a ceramics pop-up paired with flowers from Studio ChooIn Good Company will be giving away a ticket to their September event and The Assembly will be giving away three 1-day passes to their gorgeous new space.

"We just wanted to celebrate inspiring women makers and founders in the community, and are hoping it eventually becomes a series!" says the brand. 

Entrance and the movie are free to attend, so drop by, stay for the whole movie or just pop in to see Ducky perform his iconic rendition of "Try a Little Tenderness."
