Bacar is a wine-lover's Valhalla: some 100 of the 1,000 varietals are available by the glass. The 'wine wall' is the most eye-catching aspect of this remarkable three-level converted warehouse, but these days the food is also worth talking about. Wood-fired pizzas are the best bet, although the mesquite-grilled meat, seared diver scallops and the smoked sturgeon are also highlights on the approachable US and Mediterranean menu.
