With the recent loss of Boxing Room, authentic Cajun food is tough to find. Thankfully, New Orleans native Arthur Wall recently opened the unassuming, whimsical Bayou. Small and casual, you’ll find NOLA classics like po’ boy sandwiches, crawfish etoufée, barbecued shrimp and meats sourced from Dogpatch’s Olivier’s Butchery. You’d be remiss if you didn’t try the brown butter frog legs (at the very least, do it for the ‘Gram).
