Bistro Chapeau! is a proper little French charmer, with cosy bistro decor and friendly staff. The Provençal fare is just as comforting, with excellent trad dishes like coq au vin, onion soup and duck ŕ l'orange. There's a fine brunch on Sundays, which makes an ideal opportunity for exploring the bubbly list. 'Hat!', appropriately enough, is more or less French for 'Wow!'.
