Time Out says

4 out of 5 stars

Chef Khai Duong (long known for his high-end Vietnamese cooking) has returned to San Francisco to open Khai, an intimate, tasting menu-only restaurant in SoMa. But instead of getting his own space, chef Khai is renting out Bonjour Patisserie at night, transforming it into an elegant destination on the daily. The ten-course menu features bright flavors with quintessential Vietnamese ingredients—think crab sausage, galangal-dill-turmeric baked butterfish and the silky durian coconut roll for dessert.
