The historic property at 817 Terry A. Francois Blvd. has roots in the early 1950s as a bait & tackle shop, morphing into the original Mission Rock Resort, which operated as a bar & burger joint up until 1998, when it transformed into Kelly's Mission Rock. In 2012, the property underwent a significant renovation, reopening with the original name, Mission Rock Resort, in August of 2012
