ottimo, the latest project from Chef Michael Chiarello, is just across from Bottega, Chiarello’s flagship restaurant in Yountville.

ottimo brings to life Chef Chiarello’s best learnings from the last 30 years, and gives his rustic, Southern Italian cuisine a casual expression. ottimo features brick oven pizza, hand-pulled mozzarella, a café with espresso, gelato and pastries, craft beer and wine, and a tasting bar for guests to sample recipes from Chiarello’s family, his cookbooks and restaurants. A curated set of retail items includes Chef Chiarello’s ‘favorite things’ as well as souvenirs from ottimo, Bottega, and Coqueta, Chiarello’s Spanish-inspired restaurant in San Francisco.

With ottimo, Chef Chiarello shares the feeling of not just being Italian, but living Italian.

ottimo serves breakfast and lunch and is open 7:00am - 6:00pm daily.
