NorCal native Sydney Pfaff opened this boutique and gallery on the cusp of Chinatown in 2013. The inviting space takes aesthetic cues from the shops of Japan—the selection is highly curated, with a focus on handmade design and small-batch wares. Pfaff’s giftable assortment of merchandise spans original art, ceramics, fragrances, prints, candles, textiles, and small design goods, including brands like Fiele, Goest, Andrej Urem, BTW Ceramics, and Cold Picnic. But the main draw is the monthly art exhibits showcasing emerging and established painters, illustrators, and photographers.
