Lotta’s looks more like an antiques shop than a bakery, with old-timey photographs, kitchenware, Tiffany lamps, and knickknacks decking the space. Grab a seat at the red and white checkered two-top up front and dive fork-first into the sweet work of owner Earl Darby. His rich, brown-sugar laden pecan pie is a Nob Hill legend, as is the fluffy banana cream. But you really can’t go wrong with any of the offerings, which include apple, pumpkin, apricot brown butter, cherry, and more.
