Time Out says

Nestled among the picturesque Victorian’s on San Francisco’s famed Union Street, this charming boutique boasts a sumptuous array of trendy tops, darling dresses, skirts, slacks, teacups, treasures, paper, pillows, baubles, bubbles and one of a kind flea market finds, each one carefully selected by owner and curator Hope Schaffer-Colling from her travels around the globe. With just one step inside, you’re instantly transported to some wonderful place: a Tuscan farmhouse, a chateau in the French Countryside, a bungalow in tropic isles. The relaxed, upscale bohemian décor (Colling and her husband Pete designed and built it all themselves) mixes with the scent of bergamot, basil and sun-washed linen (compliments of the candles they stock) to create the perfect balance between organic and earthy, lavish and grand…much like the offerings that fill the enchanting space. Says Colling, “I’m very fortunate to have a job that requires me to travel and shop, and I really wanted to create the same sort of experience for my customers. I want them to feel like they’re having a bit of an adventure, not just buying clothes. And every time they wear something they bought here, they’re reminded of that feeling.” The unique and inspiring collections are something to be seen, but perhaps most impressive aspect of all is Colling’s commitment to finding versatile, wearable fashions at affordable prices: almost everything in the store is well under $100. And because she does limited orders, the inventory changes from week to week, so you can always score a great deal…without the jetlag!
